All static images include diagram and aerial photo views of each section of the maps wherever possible. This can include historical aerial photography for the more significant station yards or features. Two types of maps are included in the Volumes site:
- Diagram maps show all available detail in a single map. They are identified by the words “Composite Diagram” in the title heading of the static image format.
- Aerial maps display only locational symbols overlaid over aerial photography (except for the most recent current aerial photography which shows additional, selected map detail). They have the word “Aerial” followed by the year in the title heading of the static image format.
Map keys are under continual revision and the keys shown below may change at any time without notice.
